Her professional journey began in medicine, with formal training through a general surgery internship at Morehouse School of Medicine and an internal medicine residency at the University of South Alabama. While clinical excellence shaped her foundation, Dr. Ruffin’s broader purpose emerged beyond the bedside, at the intersection of leadership, well-being, and organizational culture.
